Ceran offered my husband and myself an excellent way to kick-start our stay in France. After two weeks, we were able to understand more than we ever could after years of high-school French. And although the days are intense, the teachers have a delightful way of combining real learning with much humor.
And the other students are also an essential part of the experience. The first week, we met people from England who will remain friends for life. And  in the second week, although there were only 5 students, four continents were represented. It is truly an international experience within the confines of a small town outside of Avignon.
And although it was easier to gain weight than learn French ( the cook is fabulous), we highly recommend Ceran Provence, and hope to continue our study there in years to come.
