This experience exceeded my most optimistic expectations.  I have very, very little talent at languages (I'm mostly a math and science wonk), but I have been working on drills and pronunciation for months, and I think I fit in very well with the other students. It was so much fun meeting everybody, instructors and students; I must find a way to do this again.
