The school is situated in the village of Sherborne which has a real traditional English feel with lovely old stone buildings and winding streets. There are all the essentials in the village and what can’t be found there will surely be available in Yeovil, the closest big town.
Sherborne is close to the south coast and the historic cities of Wells and Glastonbury. Wells has a magnificent cathedral and Glastonbury has a connection with England’s most romantic king, Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Stonehenge is also close by and the fashionable city of Bath, which was founded by the Romans, is only a short drive away.
The facilities offered by the school are fantastic. There is a brand new fully equipped Sports Hall for badminton, basketball, short tennis and squash. Of course, there will be all the usual outdoor sports like football, tennis and swimming.
Besides sports, the school offers a chapel, a theatre, a music wing, fully operational IT suites for Internet access and lessons. There is also a lovely little coffee shop for our senior students to meet and relax.

Accommodation
All our programs are residential (no home stays) in either single or shared bedrooms.
Meals
Our programs include full board at Sherborne School for Girls. We pay attention to the nutritional balances of meals. Hot and cold buffets offer students meals that are both balanced and varied.
On request, we can cater for students' specific dietary needs.
The Best Possible Supervision
During our courses, we guarantee an average of 1 adult's supervision for every 3 students (including instructors, activity organizers, administrative and maintenance staff).
The presence of staff members 24 hours a day ensures total safety.
- Learning activities: groups of maximum 9 students
- Sports and leisure activities at the center: groups of maximum 15 students
- Sports and leisure activities outside the center: groups of maximum 15 students
Transfers
If you travel by train or plane, a person designated by CERAN UK will be waiting for you with a CERAN Uk sign and will be able to help you in the event of any problems (e.g. loss of luggage).
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that most airline companies offer assistance for unaccompanied minors.
We provide transfers from/to the airport of London Heathrow.
