Overview    

Located in the heart of the European Community, CERAN ILC is nestled in the unspoiled countryside of the Ardennes Forest. A few minutes from Spa, world famous since medieval times for the healing powers of its mineral waters, CERAN ILC offers the ideal setting for study with ample opportunities for relaxation during the weekend.


With the constant support of our native-speaking teachers along with the use of television and press materials, you will be working exclusively in the target language throughout your stay. Come and join us! We have but one aim: to share with you our passion for communicating in the target language.

Accommodation   

The rates indicated in our price lists include either single room accommodation at the center (with shower and/or bath and WC) or accommodation of a comparable standard at a local hotel (depending on availability). If you are seeking a higher standard of comfort, some rooms of a superior quality are available either at the center or at selected local hotels and can be reserved for a supplementary charge. We ask students who are staying at a hotel to please come to the reception at CERAN-ILC first to check in.

Your room:

All of our rooms have air-conditioning and are equipped with a cassette player. The telephones are equipped with an alarm device for wake up calls and internet access is available through your personal telephone line. All bedrooms have bathroom and WC en suite.

Your partner:

Special rates: 15% reduction for your partner if you study at the same time at the same CERAN center.

 

Transfers   


We strongly recommend that you arrive at the center on Sunday between 5.00 and 7.00 p.m.

The transport package:

To facilitate your arrival and departure, a transport service (single and/or return) is at your disposal from or to:

  • Brussels Zaventem Airport and Brussels South (Midi) Station: 140 €
  • Brussels South (Charleroi) Airport : 140€
  • Liège Guillemins Station: 70 €
  • Verviers Station: 50 €

Prices are per person and per journey.

In order to book your transfer, please advise the CERAN center of your time of arrival at the airport / station. You will then receive written confirmation of your transport details. You will be met at the airport/railway station and driven to CERAN-ILC. Upon your departure, you will be driven to the airport / station.

The welcome package:

If you wish to arrive one or more days in advance, which is particularly recommended if you are arriving from a different time zone, we offer the possibility of spending a weekend in a nearby city (e.g. weekend in Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp,.). Weekends & Leisure   


Courses run until Friday evening.

We can arrange the following options for you depending on availability and upon payment of a supplement:

  • dinner on Friday evening with other students at a restaurant near the center.
  • accommodation and breakfast at CERAN ILC or in a nearby hotel for Friday and Saturday nights.
  • private lessons (minimum 2) for you on Friday afternoon and/or Saturday.

You will be asked to indicate your wishes on the annex confirming your CERAN stay.

The Sports facilities:

  • At the center: Outdoor tennis courts, squash courts and table tennis tables are available for your use.
  • Near the center: Golf, mini-golf, mountain biking, kayaking, horse riding, walking and cross-country skiing are available.
